Fishing Guide
Learn how to fish on TrappedMC, catch rare fish, and earn rewards through the fishing system.
Access Requirements
You must reach Rank F or higher to access the fishing area.

Finding the Fishing Area
Follow these simple steps to reach the fishing area:
- Start at
/spawn
- Pass both library areas (NPC Warp and Event key room) on your right
- Look for the "Fishing" banner
- Go through the archway and turn right
- You've arrived at the fishing area entrance!

Fish Rarities
Each fish type requires a specific McMMO fishing level to catch:

Fishing Zones
As your McMMO fishing level increases, you'll unlock access to exclusive fishing areas:
🔍 Zone Access
These zones are simply different fishing areas that are restricted based on your McMMO fishing level. They are exclusive areas that only players who have put in the time to grind their fishing level can access. All fish are the same type and rate for each zone.

McMMO Level Progression
Your McMMO fishing level continuously increases as you fish, unlocking different rarities of fish according to the table in the Fish Types section. Higher McMMO levels combined with Prestige and Champion ranks allow you to catch rarer and more valuable fish.

What Are Fishing Nets?
Nets are special tools that passively collect fish while you're actively fishing. When a fish is caught in your net, you'll see a green notification in chat.

Obtaining & Managing Nets
Obtaining Nets
- Random drop while fishing
- Completing fishing achievements
- Collecting fragments from fishing crates
Equipping Nets
- Type
/nets
command - Select "Equip Nets" (Net Symbol)
- Drop nets from your inventory into available slots
Upgrading Net Slots
You can purchase additional net slots at the token shop in spawn. Visit the token NPC to buy upgrades that increase the number of nets you can use simultaneously.

Fish Bosses
Fish Bosses are powerful hostile mobs that can be encountered randomly while fishing. They provide a unique combat challenge with exclusive rewards!

Boss Types
- Regular Boss Fish - Level 250 required
- Prestige Boss Fish - Level 250 + (Prestige 1) required
- Champion Boss Fish - Level 250 + (Champion 1) required

- Ultra-rare items not available anywhere else
- Special fishing enchantments
Boss Difficulty
Fish Bosses are extremely challenging! Make sure you're properly equipped with:
- Strong armor
- Powerful weapons
- Health potions
- Extra food

Trading and Enchantments

Recommended Enchantments
For beginners, Lure III and Unbreaking III are recommended for your fishing rod. Luck of the Sea is disabled on the server.
Advanced players should aim for the Hook custom enchantment, which significantly improves fishing efficiency.

Environmental Factors
Weather conditions do not exist or affect fishing on the server. Your success is determined by your McMMO level and equipment.
